im a big u2 fan...goin to see them in dublin..supported by glasvegas, and in sheffield. Id never heard of glasvegas before finding out about them supporting the biggest band in the world, now, i cant stop listening to glasvegas now...im sure they have also gained alot of exposure with other u2 fans...can only be good for them
The band will be better off without fans like you Karen, U2 arent my favourite band but you cant deny how big they are and its great coverage for a great band, good luck guys!!
Surprised at your reaction Karen. I can't stand U2 and couldn't force myself to buy a ticket when they play my hometown even though I've travelled fair distances to see Glasvegas, but this is a great move for the band. The exposure they get from these gigs will be phenomenal. Good luck to them I say.
karen, not looking to start a row or anything and respect your views but at the end of the day we either like the music or we don't who they play with is their business, if you have been with the guys from the start and listen to their stuff not sure how you can justify "goodbye", bono may not be everyones cup of tea but imposing conditions on liking a band like this is a tad stupid ... exposure and a band development are theri business not ours
Fare thee well Glasvegas. You have sold out at the first hurdle. I will never bother with you again. Have been with you from the start - before anyone else and have converted non-believers - but no more. Goodbye...
