Swedish Tour Dates for March 2012

Glasvegas are pleased to announce that their first tour dates of 2012 will take place in Sweden. The four dates scheduled for late March will take in new uncharted territory for the band with first time visits to Malmö, Uppsala and the Open Festival in Umeå.

After a triumphant sell out gig at Stockholm's 3500 Capacity Globens Annex in May 2011, the band return to the nations capital to play an intimate gig, showcasing brand new material at the iconic Fotografiska.

Fans can expect to hear brand new material from their forthcoming (as yet untitled) third album as well as classic tracks from their platinum selling debut "Glasvegas" and the Swedish No.1 follow up "Euphoric /// Heartbreak \\\

Alright people! Hopefully you'll now be aware of our first UK Tour Dates of 2012 with three shows scheduled for London, Liverpool and our home town of Glasgow for early April. The shows come almost exactly a year from the release of Euphoric /// Heartbreak \\\

After touring the world in 2011 it's great to be home and we have started writing and demoing for the next album. We look forward to playing some of the new stuff to you...

Glasvegas return from their sold out tour of Australia and finish off their round of UK and European festivals at the end of August. Already laying the foundations for their third album Glasgow's favourites return to the UK in October.

The band who are renowned for their live shows announce a 7 day tour of various venues across the country which will see the band playing some new material to their fans (along with their old favourites) before heading back into the studio at the end of the year.

Tickets go on sale this Friday 19th August at 9am

I Glasvegas avevano da poco terminato la loro esibizione al Pukkelpop Festival lo scorso 18 agosto quando si è scatenata la tromba d'aria che ha causato il crollo del palco e la morte di 5 persone. In un'intervista rilasciata all'Herald Scotland la band ha espresso il proprio shock ed il dolore per questo tragico evento. Potete leggerla su Heraldscotland.com.

Glasvegas han anunciado una gira de 7 conciertos por Reino Unido en Octubre para redondear un año muy ocupado para la banda. Habiendo comenzado en enero con un recorrido por algunos de los lugares más remotos de Escocia, parece apropiado que terminen la gira mundial de su segundo álbum "EUPHORIC / / / HEARTBREAK \ \ \" con un espectáculo en la ciudad de Glasgow.

Después de grabar el disco en Santa Mónica, la banda regresó a los EE.UU. para ofrecer algunos conciertos allí en el comienzo del verano. Posteriormente han hecho varias apariciones en festivales de alto perfil en el Reino Unido y Europa, también su segundo viaje a Japón y recientemente varios conciertos se agotaron en su primer viaje a Australia.

Glasvegas är just nu ute på en omfattande Europaturné med sitt senaste album "EUPHORIC /// HEARTBREAK \\\”. Nu på torsdag, den 19/5, kommer bandet till i Sverige för en spelning på Annexet i Stockholm. Med som support är Andreas Kleerups kritikerrosade band; Me and My Army som även de är ute på turné med sitt album ”Thank God for Sending Demons”.

Detta är andra gången Glasvegas besöker Sverige i år. Senast var den 7:e mars då bandet besökte Stockholm och Kägelbanan.

Da oggi è in rotazione in tutte le radio Shine Like Stars, il nuovo signolo dei Glasvegas estratto dall'album EUPHORIC /// HEARTBREAK \\\ !

Nella sua bella recensione del disco, Live4ever.uk.com descrive Shine Like Stars come "la definitiva canzone di invincibilità dell'album; la linea corale che che naviga come se fosse una cometa, quasi lasciando la macchia visiva di un arcobaleno mentre entra nel cosmo".
